Objective: Automate and improve manual processes for creating concrete mixes.

Approach: Updated the logic in controller (GE Fanuc) and operator interface screens (GE CIMPLICITY) to allow for more varied recipe creation, better control of materials and increased production.

Results: Successful implementation of updated hardware, software, and process. Increased process capability and yield. Less scrap. Better cost control of material. More robust and expandable system. Reduced concrete truck fill time by 75%.
